Keepsake Hints
Where is the apparatus and what do I need to do with it?
1 of 13: Walk back to the stone dragon statue that you passed by on your way through the garden. Walk up the stairs and around to the other side of the statue (walking counter-clockwise around the statue at the center).
2 of 13: You should find an indentation under the statue of the dragon. Inside the indentation will be an apparatus with various sliding switches.
3 of 13: When you slide the switches left or right, a symbol of light will either appear or disappear from the stone circle in the garden.
4 of 13: Your goal is to use several of the symbols to construct a magical rune inside the stone circle.
5 of 13: The rune you need to create is one that you may have seen recently -- if you were being observant.
6 of 13: If you pay close attention to the stone circle in the garden, you will notice three symbols around it.
7 of 13: You'll need to re-create one of the symbols found around the stone circle in the garden by setting the switches on the apparatus to a specific setting.
8 of 13: If you move all the switches, so that they are all on, you might see a rune hidden amongst other symbols.
9 of 13: If that doesn't help you find the symbol, then press the blue button in the center to reset the puzzle and move the left on the top right.
10 of 13: The symbol you want to recreate is the one, around the stone circle, that looks like a green plant.
11 of 13: With that one symbol to get you started, work your way down the switches, turning them on one-by-one, to check what light symbols they activate.
12 of 13: When you find a switch that seems to add to the symbol you've already started, make a note of the location of the switch, then move on to another one.
13 of 13: You will only need a total of three switches to build the correct rune.
