How do I solve the ghost library puzzle?
1 of 13: The protection spell will need to be deactivated first.
2 of 13: The goal is to move the blue book so that it ends up on the same shelf -- and in the same location -- as the white book.
3 of 13: The way to move the blue book is to click on one of the books immediately next to it.
4 of 13: Each color of book moves the blue book in a specific way.
5 of 13: For instance, all the purple books move the blue book to the right (it will jump over three books and spaces).
6 of 13: All the green books move the blue book to the left (it will jump over three books and spaces).
7 of 13: And all the red books move the blue book to a new shelf.
8 of 13: It is important to note that all the red books on the same shelf will all move the blue book to the same new shelf. For example, all the red books on the bottom shelf will always move the blue book to the top shelf.
9 of 13: The first goal of this puzzle will be to figure out which shelves you will need to go through before you can move the blue book onto the correct shelf. By clicking on red books, whenever possible, you can chart out which shelf of red books moves the book to which new shelf.
10 of 13: When the blue book changes from one shelf to the next, it will appear directly in line with the red book previously used to change shelves.
11 of 13: Besides adjusting the height of the blue book, there will need to be some adjustments left or right in order to move the blue book into the space over the white one. You should study the shelf with the white book to see where you would like to see the blue book appear.
12 of 13: Your goal will be to try to get the blue book to appear close to the purple book to the left of the white book. If it were to appear next to any of the books on the right of the white book, the blue book could not be moved into position over the white one.
13 of 13: Now that you know roughly where you would like the blue book to appear, and you know how to move the book, you can start moving the book from shelf to shelf, making minor adjustments horizontally, as needed.
