Which pads do I need to step on in order to open the gate?
1 of 9: Try all three pads in the first row to see if there are any differences.
2 of 9: Notice that the left pad makes a different noise from the other two.
3 of 9: So cross the first row by going over its left pad.
4 of 9: Do the same thing with the second row to find that you need to cross on its center pad.
5 of 9: Cross the third row on its right pad, and then the fourth row on its left pad to open the gate.
6 of 9: Actually, the gate won't open unless you hit those four pads in a row without hitting any other pads in between.
7 of 9: So go back to the beginning and cross the pads in this sequence: left, center, right, left.
8 of 9: NOTE: The lever on the other side of the gate just closes it behind you, which isn't useful.
9 of 9: NOTE: There is another way to figure the pads out. Notice the candles that are next to the left or right wall near each row of pads. The number of candles tells you which pad to use (if you mentally number them left-to-right 1 to 3).
