Bear Tips
1 of 5: Just because you can't fight back doesn't mean you have to just stand and take it.
2 of 5: You can run and dodge around to avoid the bear's blows.
3 of 5: To help avoid it detecting you right away, you could go into Sneak mode and run for one of the large rocks at the perimeter of the grove. (But don't leave the grove, or you'll fail the test.)
4 of 5: If you're invisible to the bear due to a powerful Invisibility or Chameleon effect, the bear won't be able to attack you at all, and you can just stand and wait for the journal entry.
5 of 5: NOTE: You could kill the bear after you get the journal entry following his attack, but that bit of vengeance will get you an Infamy point.
