How can I "reset" the Vile Lair module?
1 of 8: Once you're high-level enough to get the versions you want of the leveled items, go somewhere other than the Deepscorn Hollow area and save your game.
2 of 8: Quit the game and then rerun it to get the game launcher menu.
3 of 8: Instead of clicking on "Play" right away, click on "Data Files" and then uncheck the DLCVileLair.esp file. Click OK and then on "Play."
4 of 8: Load up your saved game and click on "Yes" when it asks you if you want to continue loading even though some content is missing.
5 of 8: Resave your game and then exit again.
6 of 8: Bring up the game launcher menu and use the "Data Files" option to get DLCVileLair.esp rechecked.
7 of 8: Now when you run the game and load up your save, you'll get the Vile Lair's starting journal entry again.
8 of 8: Everything's been reset, so play on and gather up the lair's higher-level stuff.
