1 of 3: He has several leveled magic items in his inventory, which respawns every few days.
2 of 3: Keep checking back with him to see if he gets in anything you want, especially if you're a high-level character.
3 of 3: Also note that he starts out with 2000 gold, and his Mercantile skill is 44, making him the best merchant in the game to sell expensive items to. Too bad he doesn't buy stolen items!
