Who is he and where is he?
1 of 6: He is Sir Roderic, and he's hanging around near one of the Wayshrines of Talos.
2 of 6: It's the shrine that's a ways east of the Inn of Ill Omen, which is location 52 on the Great Forest map in the main Oblivion hint file.
3 of 6: Travel to the inn and head east down the road until you find a couple of horses milling around.
4 of 6: If it's night, there may be no knight in sight. If so, wait until early morning, and he should return to his horse. (If he and the horse are gone, move east down the road to find them.)
5 of 6: Talk to him and say that you also are on the pilgrimage, and then follow him along.
6 of 6: However, this can be *very* slow going, since he and his squire Lathon (who may or may not be around) will just trot along very slowly on their horses. You'd probably be better off going it alone.
