Is this going to be as gross as the movie?
No, thank goodness; they've seriously tamed down the really gross stuff. For example, in the sacrifice scene, the victim who gets lowered into the volcano merely loses his pants and blushes a little, rather than having his heart ripped out of his chest. To me, it's a big improvement.
