How do I defeat Major Toht and get out of the bar?
1 of 10: Defeating Major Toht and his pals will take a couple of tries.
2 of 10: In the first section, Toht stands staring at his feet while his buddies wale on you. To stop them, you have to decrease his hearts --
3 of 10: -- but if you run towards him, he bolts. You need to find a way to hit him without getting close to him.
4 of 10: Have you noticed that the chairs and bottles all acquire blue triangles when you get close? It means you can use them.
5 of 10: Grab a bottle or a chair, maneuver until you target Toht; he gets four small triangles on him when this happens. When you see those triangles, press the Special key to throw the item at him.
6 of 10: Repeat this until he's down to one heart, at which point you can run up and just hit him.
7 of 10: After a short cut-scene showing the start of the fire, you now have a bad guy behind the bar with a machine gun. Yikes!
8 of 10: If you didn't already, smash the table right in front of the gunner and build the bricks into a barricade. This will give you some protection.
9 of 10: Now repeat the same process you just did with Toht: grab a chair and throw it at the gunner until he leaves the bar, at which point you can punch.
10 of 10: Wham at the gunner and Toht until their hearts drop to insignificance, at which point the fire will drive you all out into the snow.
