How do I get out of this first area?
1 of 12: The exit is at the right, at the upper level. You can reach it by climbing up to the scaffolding, if you can find a way to get up there.
2 of 12: Sweep through the area taking out the enemy soldiers, then again to see what your options are. There's no access to the upper level at the right, but you might be able to manage it from the left and work your way around --
3 of 12: -- except for that one section with the tall rail cart, where part of the railway is missing. Well, let's work on getting up to the upper level first.
4 of 12: Go to the far left of the scene, where there are two green build pads and what looks like a large crane. The two boxes of build parts are bright blue; one is out in the open, to the right of the build pads.
5 of 12: The other is on top of the scaffolding to the right of the crane. To reach it, have Indy stand on the whip platform and whip down the ladder.
6 of 12: After you rebuild the crane, use it (by climbing up close to it and pressing the Tag key) to grab the big brown cylinder to the left of the crane and swing it around to the right. Drop it on the left platform. Now you can climb the ladder and jump from cylinder to platform to the upper level of the catwalk.
7 of 12: But before this is helpful, we need to rebuild that stretch of track. You need three pieces of track; the first one is on the ground just to the right of the incomplete rail. Pick it up and drop it on one of the three spots (and incidentally smash the pile on the track).
8 of 12: The second piece of track is under a dig spot at the far right, past the broken blue machine. (There are a couple of shovels in this area inside of the boxes that litter the area.) Dig up the pieces and reassemble them, then put the piece in place.
9 of 12: The third piece of track is harder to find. See that small mining car at the top of a little hill?
10 of 12: Give it a push and let it smash into the bars at the bottom. You get two piles of bouncing bricks; one builds a doggy door (remember this when you come back in Free Play), and the other makes your third piece of track.
11 of 12: Okay, now you're ready to go. Climb the ladder and jump across to the catwalk, then jump onto the tall rail cart. Toggle to your partner and push the cart to the right. Toggle back to whomever is on top of the catwalk and build a rope so your partner can join you.
12 of 12: You're almost done. Jump to grab the short rope here, and your partner will do the same; this drops a small platform and lets you both reach the exit.
