Using the Whip
You can use the whip as a weapon whenever you like. But the whip has other uses.
Indy can use the whip to swing across a gap, climb to a high ledge, pull a hook beyond his reach, pick up an object from a distance, and even snag his female partner and reel her in for a quick smooch.
When you see a wooden pallet with a spotlight in the center, that's a whip platform. Have Indy stand on the spotlight and push the Special key.
