How do I release the caged kid on a high ledge?
1 of 10: This time all you need to do to open the cage is punch it. The trouble will be getting up to it.
2 of 10: In order to climb up to the cage, you'll need to repair two broken machines, one on the left and one on the right. Let's tackle the one on the left first; you'll need a part and a wrench.
3 of 10: At the start of this area, there was a niche at the left only accessible via whip; that's where the machine part is. Getting over there is easy, and the part is inside of a machine that you smash. Now how to get it back?
4 of 10: Put the part on the little trolley platform and turn the key to bring it out of the niche, and whip back over. Pick it up and drop it on the green pad -- and wonder what you're supposed to do now. You need to jump over the platforms to the right, but they're too far apart for you to make it while carrying the piece.
5 of 10: The key to getting this piece over those gaps is Indy's ability with his whip. Did you know you can use it to pick up things?
6 of 10: Drop the piece on the right side of the green pad and jump over to the first platform, then get just close enough to target it and whip it over. Stand as far to the right as you can, since Indy tends to hotdog and twirl right off the platform.
7 of 10: Repeat this process all the way over to the right, then put the piece in the lift at the left, which is now complete but smoking. Smash the boxes here to find a wrench and fix the lift. Ride up and use the whip platform --
8 of 10: -- which doesn't seem to work. Why? Because the landing platform isn't extended. This time you'll need a shovel and a key to take care of the problem.
9 of 10: Smash the boxes at the right till you find a shovel, then use it on the digspot at the far right. Use the key on the key mechanism under the platform to raise it.
10 of 10: Now you can ride up in the lift, use the whip platform, and smash the cage to let the slave boy out.
