What am I doing in the mine cart?
1 of 3: While you're riding around in the carts, your ability to affect your environment is limited. You can't change the speed of the carts or get out. You can basically do three things: lean out of the car to the right or left (using the right and left keys), swing your wrench at passing items or people (using the Action key), and toggle to your partner in the other car (using the Tag key).
2 of 3: That wrench is going to be your friend. You can use it to reach studs and treasure chests off the track, smash objects you whiz past, and even take a swing at any enemy carts that get close. Some of the objects will yield up studs or even treasure chests.
3 of 3: After you've gone around and around a couple of times and are starting to get a little bored, it's time to start thinking about getting out. To do that, you need to turn all of the red signal lights green.
