How do I get across this canal to the library?
1 of 7: The huge bridge is pretty obvious, though it won't be usable until you raise the middle portion. There's a key mechanism close by; let's look for the key.
2 of 7: There's a high-jump spot at the left near where you started. Send Elsa up the rope and jump onto the nearby balcony. From here --
3 of 7: -- well, you can't go much of anywhere. Drop back down to the ground and pull the lever to extend the awning, and then go further right and look for a second lever to pull while you're at it.
4 of 7: OH kay, now let's go back to the high jump spot and start over. Climb the rope and jump off onto the balcony, then jump on the awning a couple times till you're high enough to jump onto the balcony with the white rail.
5 of 7: Punch out the rail on the right, then jump over to the balcony with the two loungers. Go to the right and bounce off the second awning into the balcony where the key sits. Pick it up and drop to the ground, then use the key in the key mechanism --
6 of 7: -- to extend a whip platform. Toggle to Indy and whip across the canal (yes, he carries his whip in his professor suit) to find a second key mechanism. Sigh heavily, then start looking for a second key on this side of the bridge.
7 of 7: You'll find it in a niche at the left of this plaza, behind some grey bars. They look like the unbreakable silver kind, but they're not; just punch them out to get the key. Use it in the key mechanism to extend the bridge so your partners can join you on the library side of the canal.
