What do I have to do to win?
1 of 6: Like any race, get there first. And don't die.
2 of 6: But don't panic; it's easier than it sounds.
3 of 6: You'll make three laps around the course, and the course has three sections. In each section, you have to reach the finish line before time runs out on the clock. You'll see the countdown when you have ten seconds left.
4 of 6: Keep the speed button (the Jump button) pressed down at all times to go as fast as possible, and try to hit all the green-striped speed strips to go even faster. Hitting the walls will slow you down (as well as lowering your health and occasionally killing you outright), but hitting smaller objects in your path, like the purple rocks or the little posts, will gain you studs.
5 of 6: You'll be repeating each section three times, remember, so you'll start to recognize the hazards and anticipate the twists and turns. If you crash or run out of time, you'll be put back to the beginning of the section you're in so you can try it again.
6 of 6: Don't panic, and enjoy the sensation of speed!
