LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Hints
How do I use an extra once I've unlocked it?
1 of 4: You'll need to go to the game's menu to do this.
2 of 4: There's a section appropriately marked "Extras" where you can toggle the extras on and off. Your choices will remain active for as long as you're still playing the game, but it does not appear that they get saved when you quit the game and reload. So remember to check to see which extras are active when you restart the game.
3 of 4: Some of the extras are probably perfectly "safe" to leave running once you have them, like the Minikit Detector or Invincibility. But some of the other extras might interfere with "normal" gameplay. For example, if you have Self-Destruct turned on, you might find yourself blowing up a droid instead of using it to activate a control panel. If things aren't working the way you expect, you may need to turn off some extras to make the buttons do their normal thing.
4 of 4: Also, note that extras are not always available. Score multipliers are not available in some of the episode bonus levels, and none of the extras are available in Super Story Mode.
