LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Hints
Canisters
1 of 20: Most of these canisters can be found only in Free Play. I will indicate specifically where canisters may also be available in Story mode.
2 of 20: 1) You should see this canister on the first screen, near where R2-D2 floats over to extend a bridge leading away from the X-Wing, behind a set of shiny metal bars.
3 of 20: Switch to a bounty hunter to destroy those bars, then claim the canister.
4 of 20: 2) After using the gun turret to get out of the next room, you'll see a bounty hunter door immediately to your left. Open it, and find a canister here in plain sight.
5 of 20: 3) You can get this after fighting Vader for the first time, on the round platform.
6 of 20: 4) On the screen after the one with the round platform, you should see a canister just above you after jumping over the first fan.
7 of 20: The canister's a bit out of reach, even for a double-jump, unless you can find a way to put an intermediate platform in between you and the canister.
8 of 20: Use a blaster to shoot at the wall that's ahead of you (on the right side of the screen), and a platform will come down from the wall. Jump onto that, then double-jump to get the canister.
9 of 20: 5 -- Also in Story) You'll see another canister just to the right on that same screen.
10 of 20: You can float to that as R2-D2.
11 of 20: Have him activate the elevator that's to the right of the canister, and when the elevator is at its top, float over to the left to grab the canister.
12 of 20: 6) Go back indoors on the next screen, and notice a canister in a cage in this room.
13 of 20: There are several access hatches in the room, one inside the cage and one outside. Go through the hatch on the right with a small character, and then claim the canister.
14 of 20: 7 -- Also in Story) When you're fighting Vader in front of the large window -- where he's throwing objects at you -- look under the platform on the front of the screen.
15 of 20: There's a canister here, but also an odd piece of floor as well.
16 of 20: Double-jump and then attack to smash onto that section of floor, and the canister will be raised up to you.
17 of 20: 8 -- Also in Story) This one will be in plain sight as soon as you enter the final room where you fight Vader, a bit to the left of where you enter.
18 of 20: 9 -- Also in Story) Jump toward the front of the screen on the second platform in that room. The canister is on a side platform there.
19 of 20: 10) Continue along the platform for a bit in this section, and find a Stormtrooper-only door near the end.
20 of 20: Open this and you'll find the last canister.
