LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Hints
I can see the Falcon behind a forcefield. Now how do I get in?
of 13: You first need to get rid of the forcefield, of course.
of 13: And you may have noticed two gun turrets conveniently guarding that forcefield. As always, shoot the Snowtroopers on those turrets, and then you can rebuild the turrets and use them for yourself.
of 13: You'll want to destroy the forcefield generators. There are two of them -- one on the left side of the field, and one on the right.
of 13: You'll need to use both turrets to do this. That is, get on the turret to the left, shoot the far left side of the forcefield until the box in the lower left corner explodes. Then, get on the right turret, and shoot the box on the far right side. The forcefield should disappear once you've shot both.
of 13: But the Falcon still doesn't seem to be usable.
of 13: It needs a little fixing -- with your build skills.
of 13: Notice that there are dancing bricks both below the door and then at the very top of the Falcon.
of 13: You can build the bricks just below the door easily, but you'll also need to get on top of the ship to finish.
of 13: As you're facing the Falcon, look on the wall to the right. There is a pair of handles next to a big door (just next to the smaller door that you entered from).
of 13: Pull both handles to reveal a pair of sliding blocks. (You may be able to see through the doors in this room even when they're closed. I played the game on two different computers and had two different experiences. One had transparent doors that showed the blocks, and one had opaque doors you had to open before you could see the blocks. Either way, you need to open the door with the two switches.)
of 13: These go in the slots on the left side of the room.
of 13: Once both blocks are in place, you'll open a door revealing/freeing a pair of creatures. Hop on either creature, and walk as close as they'll take you to the Falcon.
of 13: Jump off the creature, and you should be able to land on top of your ship. You can now finish building the gun, and then the ramp into the ship will open. Go up that ramp to end the level.
