LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Hints

Now Luke has to fight. How do I win this one?

  • 1 of 6: Yoda will having you fight an imaginary version of Vader.
  • 2 of 6: You'll need to hit him a total of 8 times -- one for each heart.
  • 3 of 6: He doesn't really fight all that hard -- I found that doing a double-jump into the air and then striking the lightsaber on the way down was a sure way to get one of those hearts taken away.  The trick is that Vader moves around quite a bit, and you'll need to get close enough to hit him.
  • 4 of 6: You can get the first two hearts while he's still on ground level, but from there, he moves over to a ledge up on your left.
  • 5 of 6: Once you've taken 4 hearts from Vader, he'll jump over to the ledge on the right.
  • 6 of 6: Vader will appear one last time back at ground level when he's down to 2 hearts.  From here, there's no puzzle -- just fight him as you've been doing until the last heart is gone.  The gate at the back of the screen will open for you after that.
