LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Hints
How do I get out of the landing bay?
1 of 7: Notice the two platforms along the back wall. One of them -- on the left -- has a control panel for R2-D2 to use.
2 of 7: And that platform is also just far enough away from the platform where Luke landed his X-Wing that R2-D2 should be able to float across. It may take you a few tries, since there isn't a lot of margin for error, but if you start floating as close to the edge as you can get, R2 should be able to reach the panel.
3 of 7: That panel will raise part of a bridge on the other platform, but it still won't close the gap enough to let both Luke and R2 get across.
4 of 7: You'll need to build the rest of the bridge with parts available back on the central platform instead.
5 of 7: Notice that the right side of the X-Wing is glowing. Luke can use the Force on it.
6 of 7: The wings will then turn into the other half of the bridge to that platform on the right. The bridge doesn't cover 100% of the gap, but it covers enough that Luke should be able to jump and R2 can float over there. (R2 can sometimes float on his own from just the bridge, without the X-Wing, but Luke can't -- and he's the one who needs to build the bricks.)
7 of 7: Now, have Luke build the bricks and create a control panel for R2-D2. R2 can use the panel to open the door out of this location.
