LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Hints

Vader's now standing in front of a big glass window. How do I fight him here?

  • 1 of 10: You may also want to think about the two Stormtroopers standing in little niches on either side of him.
  • 2 of 10: You will have to get rid of both of them before Vader will take this battle seriously.
  • 3 of 10: They're both standing next to control panels that R2-D2 can use.  Have him float over there and use both control panels.  Each one of those panels will turn a Stormtrooper back into harmless little bricks.
  • 4 of 10: Now Vader's mad, and he's throwing things at you.  But don't think of it as Vader's tantrum.  Think of it as your opportunity.
  • 5 of 10: Several of the objects on the other side will just explode when Vader uses the Force on them, but at least one of them will start flying toward you.
  • 6 of 10: Remember that Luke can use the Force now too.
  • 7 of 10: When an object starts flying towards Luke, have him use the Force on it back.  This will send the object flying over to Vader, and he'll then jump out of his cozy little window view to come fight Luke where he's standing.  (Vader will keep summoning new objects to throw at Luke, so don't worry if you miss any -- you'll get plenty of chances to get this right.)
  • 8 of 10: Hit Vader a couple of times, and he'll go back to his side of the room, and more Stormtroopers will appear.
  • 9 of 10: Just repeat the process from the start of the room.  Have R2-D2 go back and chop up the Stormtroopers, have Luke catch and throw an object back, and attack Vader.
  • 10 of 10: When you've completed the process for a third time, Vader will jump through the window.  The shards of glass that he leaves behind can be Forced into a bridge that allows Luke to follow onto the next room.
