LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Hints
I'm outside on another landing pad, but how do I continue past that?
of 13: The landing pad is guarded by Stormtroopers. If you're still wearing a helmet, it's possible that they think you're one of them. But in this case, that's not a good thing -- you need to get a fight started to trigger the way out of here. Shoot one of them to get things moving. Or you can just shoot any of the crates if you don't want to shoot first, and then the Stormtroopers will start the fight. (I bet there's going to be a special edition where the Stormtroopers always shoot first, but for now, you need to get things going.)
of 13: Once all the fighting's done, some white bricks will fall from the sky to give you a grappling pad that you can build to and get your blaster-toting characters over to the far wall.
of 13: Once your party is intact again, use the red blaster circle on this platform to go up top.
of 13: Build and then use the switch that's on the left edge of this upper level to activate the elevator, and pick up the droids again.
of 13: Continue to the right, and you'll start running backwards along a treadmill. Fortunately, any of the human characters can run fast enough to get to the other end, but the droids will have trouble.
of 13: Jump over the red beam at the right end of the treadmill, and then step on the button that's just to the right of the beam. This will deactivate the treadmill long enough for the droids to join you.
of 13: When you get to the next gap, you may see some studs in the air giving you a hint as to how you can proceed.
of 13: R2-D2 can float over that gap -- and he'll need to float around the bump in the sidewalk to the left of the gap to get there. Have him use the control panel on the right side of the gap to close in the gap, so most of the rest of the party can join you.
of 13: Unfortunately, C-3P0 can't cross, and there's a door control with his picture on it in this area.
of 13: There's also a grappling circle to the left of the C-3P0 door, so use that, and fly up to a platform above the gap that R2-D2 just closed.
of 13: Look all the way to the left, and you can see a hanging target that you can shoot at. When you hit it, it will land on the ground below and destroy the bump in the sidewalk. This lets C-3P0 join you.
of 13: All you need to do now is clear a path for him to the control panel.
of 13: Move the sliding blocks so C-3P0 can walk around them, and he can open the door onto the next screen.
