LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Hints

Canisters

  • 1 of 8: Six of the canisters can be claimed while you're flying the speeders, either in Free Play mode or Story mode.  There are several speeder flying sequences, but they all take place on the same circular track, so you'll have several chances to claim these throughout the chapter.
  • 2 of 8: The remaining canisters all are available outside the speeder sequences, and are only in Free Play mode.
  • 3 of 8: 7) One canister is available after the first speeder race.
  • 4 of 8: 8) After the second speeder section, again, look to the back (right) side of the screen to a raised ledge there.  You can get there either by building some bricks and jumping up, or just by jumping out of your AT-ST.
  • 5 of 8: 9) After the third speeder section, look in the same back/right area of the screen -- jumping from an AT-ST should get you there again.
  • 6 of 8: 10) You should see this canister hanging from a shiny metal crate from the walkway just above you as you approach the shield generator base.
  • 7 of 8: And there's a Stormtrooper control panel just above that crate -- which you'll pass when you go up the first elevator and along that walkway.
  • 8 of 8: Use the control panel to lower the crate.  Then go back down and destroy it with a thermal detonator to claim the final canister.
