LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Hints
There are too many guards for me to fight throughout the palace!
1 of 7: Many of the Gamorrean guards -- those green guys carrying large axes -- will enter the palace through tunnels up on the wall.
2 of 7: And you can close off those tunnels.
3 of 7: Look for switches immediately below the tunnel openings. When you pull the switch, the nearby cover will close, and the guards will stop coming out of that tunnel. There is usually more than one tunnel in a room, so make sure to get them all.
4 of 7: You can also often distract the guards temporarily.
5 of 7: Look for jukeboxes that you can build in several of the rooms.
6 of 7: For example, when you first enter the palace, on the left side of the hallway and before you get to the first tunnel, there is a pile of bricks. Build these bricks, and you'll get a jukebox that plays the Imperial march. The guards will pause briefly to start dancing, and you can use the time to run away or shoot the guards.
7 of 7: If you do use this trick, just realize that the music alone may not stop new guards from coming through the tunnels. You can try shooting the jukebox and then rebuilding it to restart the music, but it's generally better to move onto the next room or at least shut the doors at the end of the tunnels.
