LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Hints
Canisters
1 of 18: Most of these canisters can be found only in Free Play. I will indicate specifically where canisters may also be available in Story mode.
2 of 18: 1 -- Also in Story) You may be able to see this canister on a distant platform on the far left side of the first screen.
4 of 18: 3) As you're leaving the section of rooftop where you found the last canister -- that is, when you cross the next bridge, not all the way to the spiral staircase down -- you should see another canister way overhead.
5 of 18: 4 -- Also in Story) On the screen after riding the elevator down from the treetops.
6 of 18: Look to the left, and there will be several purple crates. Shoot those crates to get the bricks for a white blaster pad. Then, build the pad and blaster up to the balcony on the tree above.
7 of 18: The canister is behind a boarded-up doorway in the tree trunk. Shoot the boards several times to reach the canister.
8 of 18: 5 -- Also in Story) After crossing over the river on the next screen, build an object to reach the next canister.
9 of 18: There is a fenced-in garden shortly after you cross the river. Shoot the plants and fences, and you will see a tractor that you can build.
10 of 18: Build it, then ride it up the river all the way upstream. Jump off the tractor, and you can claim the canister just below the waterfall.
11 of 18: 6) After opening up the pair of double gates just after the stream you should see a canister floating above you on a platform on one of the trees.
12 of 18: 7) Once you get just outside the base, look to the left, you should see an elevator along the side of a tree. There's a canister up above you, several platforms to the left of the tree with the elevator.
14 of 18: 9) When you reach the base itself, turn to the right -- in the room with the yellow switch.
15 of 18: You can shoot out some of the pieces on the walls in the back of this room (just below and to the left of the yellow switch). When you get them all, you should see that you can use the Force on several cabinet doors here.
16 of 18: Force all 4 in the area below the yellow switch, and you'll have the pieces you need to build your next canister.
17 of 18: 10) In that same room, you may be able to see a canister on the left side, behind a glass wall, near where you turn of the yellow lights.
