LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Hints
Canisters
of 11: Most of these can be found in Story mode, except as indicated.
of 11: 1, 2) There are two canisters near the destroyers at the start of the level. One is towards the back of the ship that's fairly close to where you start, on the left front part of the screen.
of 11: Another is a bit to the right of that, toward the back of the screen. You will need to shoot the spinning cylinders to free each of these canisters.
of 11: 3) Shortly after you enter the Death Star, there should be three seemingly random targets that you can hit with torpedoes -- these are just before the force-shielded door, and not the targets you need to hit to open that door. Drop torpedoes on all three, and a spinning device with a canister will be revealed.
of 11: 4) Just before you torpedo out the first forcefield in the Death Star, turn to your right to find a TIE Fighter door.
of 11: Fly through that and find a spinning canister in plain sight.
of 11: 5) In the second section of the Death Star -- that is, on the screen just after #4 -- you should come to another torpedo dispenser. Fly slightly past that dispenser and turn a bit to the left, but don't go down the main hall yet.
of 11: There's a small hidden passageway near the dispenser, where another canister is hidden.
of 11: 6) After that, you should see a control that's marked for TIE Fighters only. I found that it was possible to fly up very close to the door and just start shooting to claim this canister in Story Mode, but if all else fails, you can always wait until Free Play mode to get the canister. (I don't think it's possible to get the canister in #4 the same way, or at least, I didn't have any luck when I tried this.)
of 11: 7) Floating to your right as you're entering the core of the Death Start.
of 11: 8, 9, 10) Shoot the cylinders out of the way as the Death Star is exploding, one per screen. Just shooting constantly should be good enough for you to get these in most cases.
