LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Hints
How do we get inside the base once we're there?
of 12: If you walk up to the front door, you may see what looks like it should be a control panel to the right of the door, only there's nothing there.
of 12: Look up instead.
of 12: There's a slidable crate on top of the roof. Maybe that would give you the pieces to build a control panel, if only you could get up there.
of 12: Look over to the left, and you may be able to see a way up.
of 12: There are some grappling hooks, but even those might be out of reach.
of 12: But remember that you had to ride an AT-ST to get this far in the level, and those are still nearby. They can also help you reach high places.
of 12: Keep looking to the left from the base's entrance until you see a platform around the trees with a red button on it. That's where you want to go. If there are still some bars blocking that platform, you may need to shoot them out with the AT-ST first.
of 12: Then, walk your AT-ST as close as you can get to that platform and jump out. Aim for the platform, and step on the red button. This will activate a temporary grappling circle, and one of the other characters will automatically use that to get up to a platform and release the bricks for a white grappling pad.
of 12: You'll have to step off your current platform to build the pad with those bricks yourself, but when you do, you can get to one of the platforms above, and then grapple one more time to get onto the roof.
of 12: You can see a block on the left side of the sliding track, but the track may not be complete yet.
of 12: Once the track is complete, push the crate off the edge of the roof. It will give you the bricks you need to build a control panel for R2-D2.
of 12: If you haven't already done so, you should be able to build the brown bricks right in front of the door to give R2 a ramp up into the building. Then, he can open the door and let everyone inside.
