How do I fight the destroyers at the start of the level?
1 of 5: Notice that the destroyers each have two little purple globes on top of them.
2 of 5: The same sort of purple globes that you've fired torpedoes at in the past.
3 of 5: There's no stationary source for the torpedoes, as you might have seen in the past, but there are moving sources.
4 of 5: Some of the Imperial fighters are carrying them. Shoot down those ships, and you can pick up their torpedoes.
5 of 5: Then go to the nearest destroyer and drop a torpedo on the purple targets. There are a total of 4 ships, each with 2 targets you have to hit. Once you've "sunk" all 4 ships, this part of the level will be over and you'll go inside the Death Star.
