How do I control my characters?

  • LEGO Star Wars II comes in a number of different versions, for PC and console systems.  In addition, Windows users have several different control sets available for them, using either the keyboard, a gamepad, or even a mouse.  I personally played LSW2 using an Xbox 360 gamepad, which is compatible with the Windows version of the game.

    As a general rule, I can't tell you which controls necessarily go with your system.  I'll occasionally mention controls for the Xbox controller as an example in some of my hints, but these are likely to be different on different systems or even different control options on the same system.

    If you're uncertain as to what the proper controls are, please check the manual that came with your game.  The game may also offer you a menu that lets you customize the controls and assign actions to different keys or buttons than the defaults.  (The Windows version did, at least.)  If you go to this menu, it will also show you what your current control configuration is.  That may help you if you can't find your manual.
