How can I open the portal?
1 of 24: You need to fix many items here in the lab.
2 of 24: See what you can do, look everywhere!
3 of 24: The power supply for the computer has red rings.
4 of 24: It is behind the cage, open its little door and turn it on.
5 of 24: You can click on "retry" on the computer now.
6 of 24: "Retry" will often tell you what you need to do next.
7 of 24: Get all you can from the worktable: - a small piece of wire (near the center) - a vacuum tube of some sort - a battery powered soldering iron
8 of 24: Open the hatch across from the computer.
9 of 24: Remove the dead tube, and put in the good one from the table.
10 of 24: Remove the burned wire, and put in the new little piece.
11 of 24: Solder both ends of the wire with the iron.
12 of 24: With the short fixed, you can do something outside.
13 of 24: Go outside to the fuses, and close the big switch.
14 of 24: Look around in the lab some more.
15 of 24: The metal chest protects things from prying eyes.
16 of 24: Use the crowbar from the shed outside to open the chest.
17 of 24: You will need to use it twice to finish the job.

19 of 24: Flip the switches and pull the lever to raise the light bulb assembly.

21 of 24: The crowbar will help with the lock; repeat until it opens.
