How do I get out of the sub?

  • 1 of 5: To get out of the sub, and explore the wreck, you must use the pod.
  • 2 of 5: Explore the down ladder near the center of the sub.
  • 3 of 5: Try the controls, and see what each will do.
  • 4 of 5: One control is on the left wall of the pod.
  • 5 of 5: The Hatch lever closes the top hatch -- it's a good idea to do so.

    The Cord lever unplugs the umbilical cord to the sub.

    The Ballast lever (to the side) lets you ascend or descend.

    The Arm lever activates the robot arm of the pod.

    The direction ball chooses your course, left, right, or forward if you leave it in the center.

    The Engage crank causes the pod to move in the chosen direction, if possible.
