How can the Peg Puzzle be solved?
1 of 5: You may have seen this type of game before in restaurants and pubs. It's something that can occupy you for hours! Luckily the solution will take you only minutes!
As you jump a peg, the jumped one is removed from the board. The object is to have only one peg left on the board.
Before I blurt out the winning combination of moves, play around with it for awhile.
If you make a mistake or want to start over at any time, click on the word Back at the bottom of the screen. The puzzle will reset to the beginning.
2 of 5: There are probably many ways to solve this one. To help you with mine, number the holes from 1 thru 13 beginning at the top and going left to right on all rows until you reach the bottom.
3 of 5: There are 13 holes and 11 pegs in the beginning. Only one jump is open to you at this point: 3 to 11. The second move is critical and sets up all the rest of them.
4 of 5: Your second move should be 5 to 7 and the third 11 to 3. If you need the rest, the solution is in the next hint.
