Law & Order II: Double or Nothing Hints

So how is this game different from the first one?

  • Time is no longer a huge concern in this game, thank goodness. Time still passes, sure, and in theory it's still possible to muck about so long that your case is thrown out, but you'll no longer be cursing desperately and having to start the game over to finish in time. And the various research/lab facilities seem to have gotten their process more efficient; you usually get results back within three visits about town, rather than fifteen or twenty. Also, while the inventory space is still finite, it's now big enough that you probably won't have to go through throwing stuff out every time you add something new.

Other than that, it's pretty much the same game as L&O I. Same interface, same animation, same voices, same general layout; different plot, but just barely. So ... just like the TV show, I guess.
