How do I get a search warrant?
1 of 13: You need something that links him to the crime.
2 of 13: Like someone who saw him arguing with the defendant the morning of the murder, say?
4 of 13: Now you have Sloan's evidence, but that's not enough.
5 of 13: You need some more background on Stanton.
6 of 13: You want to find out about his past.
7 of 13: Send Stanton's case to Research.
8 of 13: You also ought to have him watched, in case he tries to get rid of some incriminating evidence.
9 of 13: Send his case to Surveillance.
10 of 13: One of those will yield an obvious lead.
11 of 13: When you get the Surveillance report back, go see the person Stanton visited.
12 of 13: You now have evidence that Stanton saw the victim that morning, that he had a dog and tried to hide the fact, and that he lost more money than he said.
