What should I pick up?
1 of 13: You're looking for evidence of a dog, plus anything else suspicious.
2 of 13: If you had a dog with long red hair, you might buy a red couch to hide the hair.
3 of 13: Or maybe a red pillow.
4 of 13: Look at the pillow on the couch and take it. But hair is hair, to the naked eye.
5 of 13: Send the pillow to the lab to see if it's the same hair found under the victim's fingernails.
