What does "the sum must be correct" mean?
1 of 6: Look on your map. You should see something like a math problem.
2 of 6: It's on the bottom half of the level, and the walls form part of the problem 1 + 1 = ...
3 of 6: Of course, 2 is the answer. But you need to make the map show that.
4 of 6: Near the area where the "2" should go, there are a few walls that will disappear when you press a button. Press those buttons to make a "2".
5 of 6: A wall will open, and you can get to a niche that contains the humanoid figurine.
6 of 6: Pressing the button on the left will make the niche appear, and you can get out by pressing the right button.
