How can I go down the flooded staircase in the W branch?
1 of 9: You will need to find a machine that can help clear out that water. You might hear something about the machine in your exploration.
2 of 9: The machine is on level 0, behind a locked door that you will need to pick.
3 of 9: You need two items to start the machine -- a gear, and a piece of coal.
4 of 9: The gear is available on level 4. It's in a pile of bones.
5 of 9: And the coal you'd get just like you're supposed to in a mine.
6 of 9: Find a pile of crumbling rocks on levels 3 or 4 and take the coal.
7 of 9: With a pick.
8 of 9: The pick is in the NW corner of level 3.
9 of 9: Then use the coal and gear on the machine, start it up, and you can go through the flooded staircase.
