How do I get out of the museum?

  • 1 of 16: You first need to get into the room that's just to the southwest of the picture gallery.
  • 2 of 16: Explore the gallery carefully, and you'll find one way into the room.
  • 3 of 16: The picture at the east end of the room can be moved.
  • 4 of 16: Pull the lever and you can open the gate into the room.
  • 5 of 16: Better yet, use the plaque next to the gate.
  • 6 of 16: If you use the skeleton key, you will learn that the room houses a time travel exhibit.
  • 7 of 16: Time travel ... there's also an hourglass in the room.
  • 8 of 16: The hourglass is key to your exit.
  • 9 of 16: Attack it with your sword.
  • 10 of 16: Pay close attention to what happens next.
  • 11 of 16: Time seems to be moving forward.
  • 12 of 16: Look at how the passage of time affects everything in the room.
  • 13 of 16: The wall to the southeast of the hourglass seems to be crumbling.
  • 14 of 16: Help it along.
  • 15 of 16: Attack it a few times, and you should eventually open up a hole in the wall.
  • 16 of 16: Jump through the wall, and you're on your way out.  But hurry, or else the time travel will make you die of old age.
