The Lost Crown: A Ghost-Hunting Adventure Hints

How can I "put old Tom back together" for Mr. Russett?

  • 1 of 16: You won't be given a large amount of help towards working out exactly what you need to do here.
  • 2 of 16: Remember where you are, and think how old Tom is likely to be.
  • 3 of 16: You're in a graveyard -- the dead vastly outnumber the living here, so odds are Tom has already passed on.
  • 4 of 16: Head out of the North Yard and look around the screen below the one with the North Yard sign.
  • 5 of 16: The large gravestone in the foreground here is where you will find Old Tom.
  • 6 of 16: You will also notice that he has been broken to pieces -- that is, the letters that make up his name on the sign have been removed.
  • 7 of 16: The individual pieces are scattered throughout the grounds of the church and cemetery, and the missing letters are T, O, M, N, E, and H.
  • 8 of 16: You are going to need to scour the gardens and grounds until you find each of the six metal letters, then return them to this gravestone and place them on in the correct places.
  • 9 of 16: Each of the letters can be found in a different place. The locations are contained in the following hints:
  • 10 of 16: The M can be found on the screen with the large crow in the corner. It's on the ground and easy to find.
  • 11 of 16: The T can be found underneath a drainpipe next to the closed wooden door on the right side of the church.
  • 12 of 16: The O can be found on the porch of the side door of the church, besides Thomas Ager's journal.
  • 13 of 16: The N can be found on the cross of a graveyard in the cemetery.
  • 14 of 16: The E can be found just to the right of the main church entrance.
  • 15 of 16: And finally, the H can be found in the bucket next to Mr. Russett. You will need to lift the skull inside to see it.
  • 16 of 16: Add all of the pieces to the gravestone in their relevant places, and Mr. Russett will agree to answer your questions.
