The Lost Crown: A Ghost-Hunting Adventure Hints
How can I clear the black mist blocking access to most of the church?
of 8: The key to trapping the creature is the Hedge Witch book lying on the table by the door, left there for you by Mr. Russett.
of 8: You will notice that the book contains a list of the five types of plants required to perform the spell.
of 8: You will also notice at the top of the page there is a diagram showing where each of the five elements should be placed in order for it to be effective.
of 8: You need to head out with your night-vision camcorder into the darkness of the cemetery grounds and find a sample of each of the five required plants.
of 8: You then need to head to the door of the church (not the main door, or the rusted shut one -- the LOCKED one, between the two), and perform the spell before the mist "claims" you.
of 8: To perform the spell, you need to place the five samples on the door in the shape of the points of a pentagram (top, top-left, top-right, middle-left, and middle-right), in the order that they are mentioned in the book.
of 8: It may take a few tries but the mist overpowering you results in nothing more than Nigel coughing a bit and you having another try, so don't worry about dying :)
of 8: Once you have placed them in the correct places quickly enough, the mist will disappear -- both that at this door and that inside the church.
