The Lost Crown: A Ghost-Hunting Adventure Hints
What other useful people and items can I find around town?
of 11: You won't need to do a huge amount of exploration in this initial section, but there are a couple of people aside from Morgan at the inn, and the lady on the beach, that you will need to speak to before today will end.
of 11: You are likely to run into both of the other characters while walking from The Bear to Harbour Cottage.
of 11: The first is a local journalist. He's wearing a white shirt and carrying a PDA, and you will find him hanging around one screen past The Bear.
of 11: There isn't a huge amount of conversation to conduct, but the game wouldn't progress for me unless I did speak to him.
of 11: The second character is the Professor you read about in the newspaper clipping in the caves. His name is Professor Hardacre, and he will automatically strike up a conversation with Nigel when you walk onto the screen where Harbour Cottage is situated.
of 11: Let the conversation run through and eventually he will leave.
of 11: There is also one more item you need to have in your inventory today, even though you won't use it until later.
of 11: You may have noticed it as you were walking along the Harbour Wall.
of 11: Nigel won't actually take the item, but he will make a note of a telephone number that was written on it.
of 11: There was a poster on the wall for a missing cat -- on the Harbour Wall screen when you first climbed up the steps from the beach.
of 11: If you examine it, Nigel will note down the telephone number for future reference.
