After gathering the sixth clue, where did Hardacre run off to?
1 of 6: Why don't you try following him? He looked like he was walking somewhere with a purpose, didn't he?
2 of 6: He was walking towards the Saxton beaches. You can then follow him through the cave and the Fenland Eye. When he emerges at the area outside near Martello tower, with the rocks, he heads down to the bottom of the screen. A few more screens down and you will find him.

4 of 6: He tells you about the life bell, and about how its crank handle has gone missing.
