The Lost Crown: A Ghost-Hunting Adventure Hints

How do I solve the puzzle with the stone wheel of seasons?

  • 1 of 13: First off, let's see what we're working with.
  • 2 of 13: The discs around the outside represent the four seasons -- winter on the top, summer on the left, spring on the left, and autumn at the bottom.
  • 3 of 13: There are then two rings in the center -- the outer one decorated with four animals -- a dragon, a fish, a hare, and a bird.
  • 4 of 13: The inner ring contains the four elements -- earth, wind, fire, and water.
  • 5 of 13: You need to align one season, one animal, and one element. The clue as to which of these to select is found in this room.
  • 6 of 13: Take a closer look at the subject of the last puzzle.
  • 7 of 13: Examine the waterwheel more closely.
  • 8 of 13: Between the spokes, you can see a picture of a fish, and the symbol for spring.
  • 9 of 13: So we know that we need to align the fish with the spring side (the right side).
  • 10 of 13: As for which element -- where did you find that clue?
  • 11 of 13: It was behind the waterwheel. The WATER-wheel.
  • 12 of 13: Align water with the fish and the spring.
  • 13 of 13: Make sure to take the stone disc from the opening.
