Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude Hints

Slaps

  • 1 of 8: This is the old hand-slapping game, specially adapted for Leisure Suit Larry. Some girls in the game require you to play this mini-game with them.
  • 2 of 8: You start the game on the offensive, meaning your goal is to slap your opponent's hands and her goal is to pull them away fast enough to avoid your slap.
  • 3 of 8: However, it's not just whether you manage to connect, but how hard you hit, too. Use the right mouse button or SPACEBAR repeatedly to power up your slaps before you deliver them with the left mouse button or ENTER.
  • 4 of 8: Also, the slapper can attempt to fake out the slappee. You can do that when you're the slapper by lightly tapping the left mouse button or ENTER key. (You'd press and hold it a bit longer to do an actual slap attempt.)
  • 5 of 8: TIP: As you power up your slap meter, issue a few quick fake-outs to see if you can get your opponent to pull her hands back. When she does, let loose with a slap as soon as she puts them back in place. You'll almost always connect.
  • 6 of 8: You can also do fake pull-aways when you're on the defensive. Remember, you're wanting to avoid getting slapped, since whoever gets their "slapped" meter all the way full loses the mini-game.
  • 7 of 8: TIP: When on the defensive, watch for some form of body language (like a change in facial expression or a tensing up) that indicates your opponent is about to slap you.
  • 8 of 8: TIP: To make the slapping games easier, buy the gauntlets from the weird vending machine near the library in the main campus area.
