Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude Hints

Tapper-like Serving

  • 1 of 5: These mini-games are very similar to the old videogame called Tapper. In it, you move your character up and down rows of bar patrons, quickly tossing them drinks as they move toward you so that none of them ever reach you, and catching empty mugs as they're returned before they break on the floor.
  • 2 of 5: In the LSL8 variations, you might be passing out fliers to students, throwing food to monkeys, or any other similar thing. In all cases, there will be four rows of creatures coming at you, and you need to toss them what they want before they can reach your end of the row.
  • 3 of 5: WARNING: You also sometimes have to catch things they throw back at you. For instance, when you're passing out fliers to college students, some of the students will turn fliers into paper airplanes and throw them back toward you. You need to be on the row the airplane is coming down when it reaches you. (Some mini-games have two different things that can be thrown back at you. You only need to catch one type of thing -- the other is best avoided.)
  • 4 of 5: TIP: You can use the A and D keys to run left and right along rows in order to collect returned items early or grab cash bonuses.
  • 5 of 5: TIP: To make the game easier, buy the bar diploma from the librarian in the library.
