Multiple Hats
  • In stage 8 (Shifting Sand Land) or 10 (Snowman's Land), you can get multiple hats.  First, lose your hat by walking through some wind.  Next, go through the warp in the level multiple times.  When you come back, there will be a pile of hats where your original hat was.  Then, you can pick them up and have it so that you're holding it in your hand.  In stage 8, you can take this one step further -- if you get the wing cap before you go and get the pile of hats, you can fly with the wing cap in your hand.
