Citadel Tour Tips and Highlights
of 21: The only new thing you can do in the Tower is get the "Citadel: Scan the Keepers" optional assignment, so after you do, use the Citadel Rapid Transit panel (near the central tree-and-rock area) to travel to the Presidium's Wards Access area.
of 21: Use the nearby Citadel Rapid Transit console to travel to Chora's Den in the Wards, then quicksave your game before going north to a large square-shaped walkway.
of 21: You'll quickly find yourself under attack by assassins on the walkway. Take cover by crouching and pressing against the railing, over which you can periodically shoot at the assassins in zoom mode.
of 21: After they're all down, go to the NW corner of the walkway and enter the circular Chora's Den area.
of 21: Move around to where you'll overhear a conversation between krogans. You can't partake, but you will get a codex entry and some XP.
of 21: The only other things to do there are mission-related, and are therefore covered in other hints, so go back to the square walkway, then go south and open the door that leads to the lower markets.
of 21: You can talk to Morlan along the north side of the area to barter. He has a cheap Elanus Risk Control License for sale, as well as the more expensive Grenade Upgrade II and Medigel Upgrade II, which you probably can't afford right now.
of 21: Go up the eastern stairs to reach the upper market area, and talk to Conrad Verner to get started on the "Citadel: The Fan" optional assignment.
of 21: Just to the west of Verner is the merchant Expat, who has some things to sell, including a cheap Elkoss Combine License and a Medigel Upgrade II. You can also get a codex entry and XP by talking to him about everything.
of 21: Go through the door near the SE corner of the upper markets area and over to where you can get the "Citadel: Reporter's Request" optional assignment from Emily Wong.
of 21: Next, go east until you reach the door to the Med Clinic, where you can replenish your medi-gel supply at an aid station and talk to Dr. Chloe Michel for medical supplies.
of 21: TIP: Buy the cheap First Aid Interface I and equip it on the armor of someone (like Alenko) who can't regenerate health otherwise.
of 21: Just outside the med clinic, there's a spot next to the big window where you can observe a nebula to get a codex and some XP.
of 21: Go back to the west end of the area and up the stairs that lead to the Flux and Wards Access areas. Go into the Flux Nightclub and up the stairs to find a bunch of machines that you can use to play low- or high-stakes quasar. (Needless to say, you should play the high-stakes version, and always quicksave after every win and quickrestore after every loss.)
of 21: Also on that floor, you can examine the suspicious gambling machine against the west wall to get the "Citadel: Signal Tracking" optional assignment. To get another optional assignment called "Citadel: Rita's Sister," go down to the bar and talk to Rita.
of 21: Go back the way you came, then find the stairs in the Upper Wards that lead down to a separate part of the Lower Wards. Go down the long north corridor to find an elevator that can take you to the Security region.
of 21: Start by going to the NE area where you can talk to the local requisition officer and purchase some stuff, including a cheap Aldrin Labs License.
of 21: Over in the C-Sec Offices area, you can talk to a guy named Jahleed to get the "Citadel: Jahleed's Fears" optional mission.
of 21: Go west to the Tracking Control area and use three terminals and one weapons locker to get codex entries and XP.
of 21: After that, the only place you haven't been is the docking bay (accessible via an elevator in the C-Sec Academy Atrium), but there's no reason to visit there now.
