1 of 4: Don't move on to the next mission until you've looked around the ship for new things to do and people to talk to.
2 of 4: You probably also have lots of surplus equipment to sell to your requisition officer.
3 of 4: If this was the first post-Citadel main mission you've finished, return to the Citadel to find an admiral standing around the docking bay.
4 of 4: Talk to him to get him to inspect your ship, then see how many Charm- or Intimidate-related options you can use to gain morality points and XP from this encounter.
