Mass Effect Hints
Break-In
1 of 9: To get to the Synthetic Insights Offices area, return to the plaza and use the elevator that's partway along the corridor that leads to the garage.
2 of 9: Move forward past the elevator to encounter two security guards who will talk to you.
3 of 9: You can either pick a fight with them or use a persuasion option to get them to back off.
4 of 9: Either way, you'll have to fight a few other security guards in the nearby area. There'll also be a drone or two if you didn't use the above security tip.
5 of 9: After searching the ground floor for lootable containers, go up the stairs to the second floor, watching for any enemies who may be hiding up there.
6 of 9: Hack into the NW office to raid a couple of containers if you want, then head south to find a raidable crate and a walkway that leads to Lorik's office.
7 of 9: NOTE: Lorik's office door will be locked if you haven't killed off all of the guards and drones in the area yet.
8 of 9: Optionally raid a wall safe and a medical kit in Lorik's office, then access the computer on the table.
9 of 9: That'll get you the evidence you need, and you'll move on to the "Evidence in Hand" objective.
