Mass Effect Hints
How can I get through the valley and to Peak 15?
1 of 13: Drive carefully along the icy path until you reach an overturned vehicle.
2 of 13: You can stop and get out of the Mako to raid a crate that's next to the vehicle, but get back into your Mako quickly -- it's cold out there!
3 of 13: The tunnel that's coming up past that is heavily guarded by geth. (Note that just before you reach it, there's another wrecked vehicle with item containers next to it.)
4 of 13: Look for two hard-to-see upgrade kits on either side of the tunnel at its approximate center, then move to the other end of the tunnel.
5 of 13: After the short armature cinematic, move carefully out of the tunnel, looking to the right for the armature and some more geth troopers behind shields.
6 of 13: Use the usual blast-and-retreat method on them, then drive up to the armature's position to find a few last troopers and a couple of locked containers that you can get out and raid.
7 of 13: Drive on to the next tunnel, where you'll have more shielded troopers to blast at the tunnel entrance. (You could shoot at them long-range from near the first tunnel's exit, but that might be too hard.)
8 of 13: When you're about halfway down the second tunnel, move over to its right side and use your zoom-view to see and blast the geth heavy turret that's a short way past the tunnel's exit.
9 of 13: Get out and raid a medical kit next to a large crate after you exit the tunnel, then drive on down the winding path.
10 of 13: When you're not quite halfway down the path before the last major bend, look to the left to see if you can spot a geth heavy turret. It may already be firing rockets at you, so dodge them and quickly destroy it.
11 of 13: As you approach the last bend, look for another turret to be directly ahead of you. It's hard to dodge its rockets, so destroy it as fast as you can.
12 of 13: There's one last turret to blow up near the Peak 15 facility entrance, after which you can park your Mako near a flaming wreck.
13 of 13: Get out of your Mako and go through the nearby automatic door to enter the Peak 15 garage area.
